EKI High Purity Reagent Grade Water is manufactured and packaged in the USA. The proprietary multi-step purification process includes: Carbon adsorption, reverse osmosis, multi-step mixed bed deionization, sterilization by ultraviolet irradiation and final sub-micron filtration. The finished product is free of all organic and inorganic contaminants, and is packaged at 18 megohm resistivity, the absolute limit for completely pure water.
Meets or exceeds the criteria for ASTM Type 1 and CLSI Clinical Laboratory Reagent Water (CLRW). Additionally, it meets or exceeds specifications for USP-NF Purified Water at the time of manufacture.
This high purity water is excellent for reconstituting lyophilized reagents, calibrators and controls. It contains no preservatives and is free of organic and inorganic contaminants. It is intended for in vitro diagnostics and laboratory use. A Certificate of Analysis is available for every lot produced. This water is not intended for use as a sterile product for injection, infusion or irrigation nor is it potable.
